At the start of January, the Trust appointed James Middleton as Executive Chef for both Swavesey and Nene Park Academy. He brings a wealth of experience in catering in the education sector as well as a Chef de Partie for a Michelin star restaurant and will work with the support of our catering partners Pabulum.
‘I want the food and dining at the schools to reflect the quality and standards that Swavesey prides itself on in the classroom, arts, sport, etc,' says James.
‘I have been impressed by what I have seen so far and love the three lunch arrangements which make dining so civilised. The students have been great, offering me lots of ideas about the menus that the team are going to make.’

‘As well as being busy in the kitchen, I’m looking forward to supporting all aspects of Swavesey life, from being involved in assemblies, right through to Food Technology lessons.’
