The Arts at Swavesey
Welcome to Arts Development in the Swavesey area. Karen Thomas is your local Arts Development Manager, based at SVC. Arts Development is about supporting existing activity in local communities and developing opportunities for high quality arts experiences for all. The arts in your area can cover everything from music concerts to book clubs, theatre performances to photographic societies.
Swavesey’s Arts Development patch includes the parishes of: Bar Hill, Boxworth, Childerley, Conington, Elsworth, Fen Drayton, Knapwell, Lolworth, Longstanton, Over, Papworth Everard, Papworth St Agnes and Swavesey
Your local Arts Development Manager can help you as an artist or your arts group or society on issues of governance, finance, making connections, building membership and much more. If you are part of a voluntary or community group in the Swavesey patch, your Arts Development Manager can advise you on how to utilise the arts in various ways to positively contribute to the work of your society.
